Description
All tours are on a chartered tour bus dedicated to the tour itinerary. Departure points from Medellin are indicated in each tour description and the length of the tour is a full day, getting you back to Medellín before dark.
For the perfect combination all-day trip to experience Medellin’s most legendary places, sign up for this daily double-decker bus tour of Medellin’s main tourist attractions, plus a visit to the hip and innovative neighborhood of Comuna 13, and finally to the picturesque rural town of Guatapé.
Your all-day guided tour (Spanish, with basic English as needed) starts at 6:30 a.m. when you board the bus to see the best of the city, like Poblado Park and Avenue, the Barefoot and River Parks, River City, the Golden Mile, and more.
Then you’re off to Comuna 13, a fascinating innovation in urban redevelopment that transformed Medellin into one of the most livable cities in the world. Go up and down the famous escalators, see the colorful murals that line the streets, and take time for a complimentary snack tray before continuing the journey.
The third phase of the tour takes you to Guatapé where you’ll first have lunch and then see the replica of the old Peñol. You’ll be taken out on a boat to see the dam and reservoir, then back to amble around the streets of the village and craft shops to buy souvenirs.
