Go off-grid at the Barú Beach Eco-Beach Resort, a private beach, with no vendors or crowds, and less than 90 minutes from Cartagena. On the way you’ll visit Ciénaga de Cholón, a cove surrounded by warm turquoise waters, under which is the largest barrier reef in Cartagena. Next, you will enjoy a panoramic tour through the mangrove tunnel. At the end of the mangroves is the beach resort, which has a small, independent hotel restaurant on their private beach where you can relax in beach hammocks or under umbrellas. For activities, enjoy use of the free kayaks or play volleyball or board games.
