Description
A boat tour to witness the charming river ways around Mompox, which is one of the most important tributaries of the Magdalena river and has an extraordinary history (as does the city itself) as a retreat from Cartagena when it would be under assault by pirates. The tour includes an English-speaking guide and pick-up from your hotel or AirBnB.
On top of the history, get to know the flora and fauna of the area, including its wading birds and migratory birds. You’ll take a shore visit to the village of Troncosito to take in some beautiful views of the landscape.
The service starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m., and includes picking you up and returning you to your hotel.
